If you had asked me years ago what faith looked like, I probably would have given you a basic textbook answer. Today, my answer is different.
Faith is waking up everyday and choosing to trust God when uncertainty surrounds you, when the answers are unclear, and when the path ahead sems impossible to navigate.
Throuhout my life, there have been seasons when I did not understand what God was doing. Seasons of uncertainty, disappointment, heartbreak, and waiting. Seasons where the future felt unclear and the weight of my responsibilities felt overwhelming.
As a women, we try to hold everything together. It is in our nature to create, nurture and care for our families and homes. But there have been times when I felt like I needed to have all the answers, all the plans, and all the strength to keep holding it together and moving forward.

Truth is... I didn't, and I couldn't.
And perhaps you dont either.
One of the greatest lessons I have learned is that faith is not the absence of fear but the ability to trust God despite the fear.
Faith is taking the next step even when you do not know what will come after. It is beleiving that God is working even when you cannot see evidence of it.
Looking back on my life, I can see God's hand in places where I once saw only pain, heartbreak, failure, and obstacles. There were doors that closed, prayers that seemed unasnswered, and seasons the felt incredibly difficult. Yet those very moments shaped me into the woman I am becoming today.
My faith has not made life perfect. It has not removed every challenge or eliminated every worry and self-doubt. But what it has done is provide an anchor during life's storms. It has reminded me that I do not have to carry every burden on my own, Psalm 55:22: "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved."
When I feel overwhelmed, I remind myself that God's plans are greater than my own understanding. When I feel discouraged, I remember HIS faithfulness and how he has carried me through in past seasons. When I feel uncertain, I choose to trust HIM one day at a time. Isaiah 41:10"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Faith sometimes looks like a quiet prayer before bed, or getting up one more time every morning, it looks like surrendering control and trusting God with what you cannot control or change. If you find yourself walking through a difficult season, I want to encourage you today: keep going!
You may not understand everything right now, and that's ok! You may not have all the answers, and that's ok too!
God always finds a way to use our most challenging seasons to grow us, strengthen us ans prepare us for what he has already predestined for us.
Conclusion
Faith has taught me that I will not know every step of the journey but that trusting God is my guide for every step I will take.
No matter what season you are in, know that you are not walking through it alone. Continue praying, continue trusting, and continue moving forward. God's faithfulness is not determined by our circumstances, and His plans for us are always greater than we imagine.
Psalm 145:13: "The Lord is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made."
